okay, the 'we casti girls' discussion' is bothering me. it sounds so bad. can we please make it gramatically correct (like us casti girls' discussion or our casti girls' discussion?)

i agree that i would like to have more breaks throughout the year. but what i was saying about the farm is true. kids needed to help out in the summer. do you think that people cared about kids not wanting to be in school all year back 200 years ago? no, they didn't. i think we should have shorter summers now though. but on the other hand, casti has no air conditioning in the classrooms (though they do in the staff offices...go figure). and it's hot when we leave and it's hot when we get back. i don't think i could stand being in school with it hot for another month. you know how it is. a month break here and there would be nice. hey, did you know that christmas break goes through the 7th this year? we get out on the 20th though.

naw, i don't think it was invented so the kids could help at the family farm. i think it just kinda appeared when people realized that kids can't be in school for the whole year. the europeans do it the smart way though. with a shorter summer break, longer winter break, longer easter break and more short vacations throughout the year.

okay, now it's time for a new topic. if we both think that it doesn't exist, then there's nothing to talk about. why don't we talk about what the purpose of summer is? it was invented so that kids could help in the fields, but why do they keep it around? what does the school want us to be doing?

well, blythe. sorry to not run home during lunch break to post.
anyway, i dunno if atlantis ever existed. i'm starting to think it's just a tall-tale type thing. only much cooler than a paul bundy type of tall-tale.
:: Claudia 5:05 PM [+] ::

yes, i have to agree with that
:: Cornelia W. 12:41 PM [+] ::
...
i think that we are both wonderful
:: Cornelia W. 12:41 PM [+] ::
...
no, what?
:: Cornelia W. 12:40 PM [+] ::
...
you are too kind. you know what i think?
:: Cornelia W. 12:40 PM [+] ::
...
no no, you are the smart one. i am nothing compared to you
:: Cornelia W. 12:40 PM [+] ::
...
why thankyou blythe. you are smarter than i
:: Cornelia W. 12:40 PM [+] ::

so anyway, since i seem to be talking to myself, i agree that atlantis never was a city. it makes total and perfect sense. very good point blythe

hello. no one has updated. how is this to be a discussion if we don't discuss?
so, if it's all up to me (since i will have to have a discussion with myself) i choose to talk about...
just kidding :-)
:: Cornelia W. 9:27 PM [+] ::

hey clau, you need to change it so that the most recent blog comes up first
:: Cornelia W. 6:02 PM [+] ::

hey everyone (ie clau and meaghan). now, i know that niether clau or me have the same...um...interest in atlantis as you do, thus forth this could be considered a meaghan blog discussion. but i guess that that's okay by me if it's okay by clau. she's the boss in this case. i think that it's in the carribean though. it just strikes me as that type of place. but i guess it has to be somewhere deep, like where we wouldn't be able to find it. actually, if you want to know the truth, i don't think it exsists. sorry, but how did the whole atlantis thing start anyway? it seems to me to be just one of those tales, that someone made up along the way
:: Cornelia W. 5:59 PM [+] ::
...
wait, why the CURRENT location of atlantis (by the way, how do you make something bold type in html code? i don't like always having to put a word in caps. that's too strong.)? has it moved? and why would atlantis be at mt. shasta? i thought it was a ocean type of place. i know, i shouldn't be putting all my faith into how disney portrays it, but i would think that the best guess would be the bermuda triangle.
